| It's been two weeks and two days, but I finally have little baby arugula poking up. Nothing else yet, not even the turnip greens, gai lan, or kohlrabi.
For the ones that are too crowded (some in the other areas are almost right next to each other), should I try to scoop them out and move the to slightly more spacious quarters? They're in an outdoor cold frame. (Please pardon the rather messy seedbeds!) |

| I'd leave them be if I were you. Arugula is a fast grower and doesn't like being moved. It would make it more likely to bolt. You can always thin with a pair of scissors later and eat the thinnings. |
