Hunting For Seeds

Hi everyone,

Anyone out there have any of these flower seeds? I'm running low on perennials. I have Blue Lake 274 Bush Bean and Danver's Half Long Carrot seeds to trade (labeled for 2012-commercial seed). Here's what I'm looking for:

Annuals:
Nicotiana
Cosmos "Double Click Cranberries" (or other dark colors)
Amaranthus "Love Lies Bleeding"
Verbena
Salpiglossis
Strawflower "Swiss Giants"
Alyssum "Aphrodite Bold Mix"
Zinnias

Perennials:
Butterfly Bush
Butterfly Weed
Maltese Cross
Sweet Violets (Viola odorata)
Red Hot Pokers
Gaura "The Bride"

How's your Winter Sowing coming along? Personally, I can't wait until these cold snaps go away and I start seeing sprouts in my containers. Most of these I plan on planting at my local community theatre, along of what I have already sown.

Brad,
I have tons of Zinnias and some Butterflyweed. I also have wild-type Verbenas and possible some annual Verbena Boniarensis. Send me an email with your address and I'll send some out. Do you have a preference re color or size on the Zinnias? I can just send a variety. All were collected in my garden, so may have crossed with one another. I had some incredible orange/pink marbled flowers last year, so I saved seeds from those, as well as more traditional types.

I Have a pack of seeds from a recent trade marked as milkweed for monarch butterflies. would you be interested? also perhaps in the spring, maybe you'd like a butterfly bush plant? i have yellow, white, purple in my yard! :)

Michael, thanks for the offer, but I have enough milkweed seeds already sown. I'll keep you in mind about the butterfly bush.
