Post some of your favorite WS plants from 2012 here...whatever you think was beautiful, promising, prosperous, or lifted your spirits.

Maybe these will offer some inspiration for newbies (and oldies).

Some of my favorites. Digitalis purpurea, assorted cultivars, including Camelot series, and Excelsior hybrids. Thesey were all winter-sown in 2011 and bloomed SPECTACULARLY in 2012.

Digitalis 'Camelot Cream' -

Dianthus barbatus, 'Mixed Doubles' sweet william, also ws'd in 2011, and bloomed in 2012.

Morning glories, Ipomoea 'Split Personality' ws-d 2012 -

Aquilegia / Columbine 'Origami Yellow' ws'd 2011 -

Hello Bonita, I got the Iris from HD 2 season's ago, I posted it on the Iris site, no identification as of yet. The orange flower above is "Tithonia Torch" is a butterfly magnet it will be a main stable in my gardens to come.

I'm wondering where is everyone we usually get a lot of beautiful pictures posted.

I also had great luck with foxglove and lupines last year and am waiting for them to bloom this year. I gave lots away to my friends and I have planted more this year. Delphiniums are the only things that did not germinate but I am trying again this year. Columbine and tall verbena were also a success. I am looking for new things to try and some alternative seed varieties that are not found in the stores.
