| Hi Guys, ok, a friend gave me some seed over the week end, I have a double question about this plant.
First off, she just collected the seed last week, so it got rained on, and snowed on,the seed was moist when she gave them to me,I have left them on the table, open, to dry out, will they be ok to WS? Question # 2,, I did some reading up on MonksHood, and it very poisionus, every part of the plant,I don't have any small children to worry about, or pets, that go out side to worry about,is it worth it to try to grow it?I saw hers during the summer, and it was really a pretty plant.I think it takes 2 years to germenate,,,I Think,, What say yea?? cAROL |

| cAROL, I had lots of reservations about monkshood until I saw a plant in bloom last summer. They're stunning and unusual if you can get past the fact they're poisonous. Foxglove is also poisonous but no one seems to worry about growing those. I think the monkshood needs shade too. |

| Eillen, what do you think about this batch?Being that it was out in the elements for so long, still viable? cAROL |

| Actually, from what I've read, you want to plant those right away, and to NOT let them dry out. Drying them out causes them to lose their viability. WS them now! Karen |
