which of these can/should be winter sown?

These are my remaining seeds that I'm not sure how to sow. I have a bag of direct sow flowers and a bag of start indoors only flowers so if you could let me know if any of these are more suitable to one of those categories! Tia!

From your list I know these can safely be planted now:

Clarkia pulchella
Aster azureus
Androsace septentrionalis
Browallia.americana
Gautama (this should be written as Gaura) lindheimeri
Dianthus barbatus
Cheiranthus allionii
Verbascum phoeniceum

I'm not familiar with the rest. Hope that helps.

verbascum and dianthus - jeanne's list is more complete. i personally would hold off on the annual vines as they germinate quickly and are somewhat tender. Nice list!
