Do salvia seeds need to be cold stratified? I get conflicting info.

I can only speak for salvia blue bedder and salvia victoria, neither of those had to have any cold period.

What kind of salvia are you growing??

Deebie, you probably find it conflicting because there are so many salvia - some will benefit from a cold moist period and others don't need it. Do you have a type or even a variety name where we could find the type...
