My crates of WS seeds are covered under 24 in. plus snow. Should I remove the snow that on top when I can get out to the crate they are in?

No - keep them tucked in. The snow is insulating them from the coldest weather and will provide slow and gentle watering when it melts. The snow also is helping the seeds that need dark to germinate. Your seeds are enjoying their cozy blanket of snow. :) Lynda

Agree....leave that snow. The conditions hardest on plants and seedlings are those with dry cold and bitter freezing winds, not when they have the protection of snow cover....it's like a big white down comforter for them.
