| I have a lot of the standards, too, but my favorites are cimicifuga racemosa (black cohosh), astilbe chinensis, and a pink hibiscus. |

| Rudbeckia and Coreopsis. |
| Mine would have to be Salvia greggii, the red one. Its evergreen here, minds its manners and the hummers just love it. I kept waiting for it to quit blooming during the heat of the summer to cut it back and shape it up but it kept blooming all season last year. I'm waiting until I prune the roses close to Valentines' Day, then I'll shape it up again and it will start blooming again shortly after. |

| Just to name a few. Phlox |
| Some that I really love include: Purple Ironweed I have quite a few more that I'm trying this year and I can't wait to see how they'll turn out. Joe Pye Weed, Blue Vervain, Peach Leaf Bellflower and many more! Brad AKA Moonwolf |
| What I thought was new growth on my Salvia greggii is actually bloom buds!! I won't be pruning it back anytime soon as the hummers are due in about a month. |

| phlox astible columbine iris bleeding hearts I don't now what they're called, but I have a cute dark pink flower that came in a mix. It not only is perennial, but it is spreading nicely in an area where I can't get grass to grow. I'll take a pic this year and see if I can fnd someone who can ID it for me. I also love hollyhocks, but I have a big problem with them getting rust (I think) and I simply gave up on them. |
