Fellow Lurkers - join in - This is a generous group!

I've been lurking for a year now, reading everyone's success stories. I finally bought seeds and did my milk jugs. Now, I wish I hadn't bought any seeds - because of the generousity of this group. The quanity of free seeds I received from Trudi, Pixie_Lou and Karen (Bakemom) is amazing. Karen- how did you know I really wanted Blackberry lily seeds and couldn't find any? They, along with many, many, MANY more packets came yesterday. Thank you all.

FYI - I have 50 jugs done so far - now, with all these seeds, I'm going to have to hit Starbucks and friends for more.

Sounds wonderful!
I just stumbled onto this. I've been "lurking" on Wintersown.org for a few years now, but have not gotten started, as my husband is a disabled vet & I am also disabled, so money is tight and it's just hard to GET things done.
This is the year we're starting, but No money to buy seeds.
If anyone has any extras for us to plant that would be wonderful! (We "hope" to save seed, although I'm pretty clueless on that, too.)
Last, but perhaps not least, any of you have seeds (even "spice" seeds) you think are to old to germinate/grow, I'd love to have those, too, for use in art projects (I've been preparing at our place an all-round homeschool coop)--all seeds are lovely, but some are absolutely magnificent looking!
Thanks.

Forazw, did you see this post?

Bakemom is organizing free seed packages for newbies. All you have to do is send her a self-addressed stamped (4 stamps) envelope and she'll send you a bunch of seeds for free. The seeds come from her as well as other donors.

I just received mine last week. It's an embarrassment of riches!

Forazw,
Same here. If you e-mail me an address, I'll send you a care package. Do you have any favorite colors? Do you need plants for sun or shade? Just let us know. You'll soon find you have enough seeds to start giving them away!

Martha
