wormwood
mugwort
St John's Wort.

Mugwort I'm guessing is ok to sow now bec I see it growing like a weed!

thanks again,

The hypericum/St. Johns wort is fine wintersown, judging by the hundreds of seedlings I've pulled from around the green, variegated white, and gold leaf varieties over the years...that one is close to weed-like here.

There are lots of artemesia (wormwood) and I would guess fine for sowing outdoors. The annual types wouldn't germinate until it warmer, a few of the perennial types need an extended chill....do you have a cultivar name?

no I don't know the particular name.
I've had it in my garden and liked it.
I think the one I had must be a common variety that I got at a plant sale and it is a perennial.
