Great post. I often wonder why more folks don't make their links clickable by doing that.

Anywho... If they are not showing hit preview which should bring them out.
If you are the OP (Original Poster starting the thread) the Optional Link URL box and the Name of the Link box will not be seen until you hit Preview.
The boxes can then be filled in and you have to hit Preview again before lastly hitting Submit

Because I don't know how to code for it. I'd rather embed a photo because I pass by and don't like to click on links unless it's something I really want to see.

I host my own photos, so have to do my own code, can easily embed a photo now and code an external link without using the useful link feature. Sometimes I have both or all three in one msg.

I do have a flickr account, but FTP uploading my photos to my own space is so much faster for me.

I saved the code for doing these relatively simple things.

What about clickable links within the text of your message? Someone told me how to do that once, but I can't remember now.

And if you have Firefox it is just as easy to put a link within you message as it is to copy/past the link. Sometimes it is easier than because you don't have to go looking for the URL.

I don't know if Firefox has a fast and easy to link photo's.

Well, this is an interesting post since I Have yet to discover how to embed or link a pic..... I do not post my pics online, they are on my computer; so is it impossible to copy them or link them to a message? I really have no need to post pics online to a site, I don't have the time and I carefully back up all my pics weekly.... I like having them here on my computer so does that mean I can never share?

You can post them to some of the forums that have Galleries.
The forums with galleries from the list have a little picture of a camera next to them. They allow direct uploading of pics from your computer. You can also upload them to The Garden Galleries from your computer.
