Some more containers sowed after the blizzard. This year, I'm sowing directly in those shoe boxes. Anyone have an expirience with them?

adamark, my first bottles look just like those in your first picture. I just saw the tops of them today. My later bottles are sitting on top of the snow. The snow they're resting on is level but the ground beneath them is uneven. I'll have to keep an eye out when things start melting that the bottles don't tip over when they hit the ground. LOL

It could be weeks before I see my bottles - there is 26 inches of snow pack out there, along with another 2 1/2 feet of snow on top of the WS containers because of snow that had to be shoveled off the roof. Alas, it couldn't be helped!

I have very sore shoulders, so there will be no shoveling them out any time soon, to make room for more containers. 8-O

I can see the tops of mine too but my lasagna pan tops were crushed from the snow and my Buddy (dog) thought they looked like fun to play with. Glad I didn't have too many.

I used those shoe boxes last year! I saved some for this year.

The shoe cont worked great for me. I also could save them easily and the conatiers are ready to go for this year.

Once I get my dirt they will be the first ones I sow again.

I also got mine for .99 cents each.

Thankfully we didn't get nearly that much snow. But the ground was covered for a long, long time. As of yesterday we're now snow free. The last of the snow melted on the deck and the humps along the driveway.

Have faith folks, it's almost over.

Now, I really can see them! Tomorrow should be ~50's, but, we know, this is not the end
