| Hello, Add another 51 for Zone 6. I found this forum late last winter and wintersowed a few containers with mixed success. I had some of the best cabbage and lettuce transplants that I'd ever seen. I had less success with my annuals, however I used mostly seeds that I received from trades. Another Central Ohio Karen |

| Hi all, just wanted you to know how Techno chic our forum is these days. For the container count we are now storing the spreadsheet online as a collaborative googledoc (free of course). Security is tight & folder is marked private. Hostarookie is the only one who can read & write to it, I have read only permission, & we both have to log in with an ID and a password to even see it. We wouldn't want an outsider hacking in, messing with your count & trying to steal our precious dumpster containers for the treasure inside! :) Actually Manda is the one who first mentioned googledocs & I hope she might have gotten well & be reading this. You never know. I've made certain selections in googledocs & I get automatic e-mail notification from the system whenever the spreadsheet gets changed. My e-mail flashes/buzzes on my cellphone, which I keep in my pocket as I'm working or gardening. Actually I can see the googledoc on my phone but hard to read. Thanks for all the advice that I get here. Fun! |

| Ok folks... I see where some have corrected their counts, thank you! Since this is a collaborative effort with River and myself, there will be a delay/lag in some of the totals and/or a glitch in the codes. Please don't worry, I stay on top of the posts and the running count that I keep is definitely correct, even if the most recent spreadsheet post isn't! Feel free to continue to post any errors you see, but I'm sure by the next updated post, you'll see where your correct count is reflected. There may be errors here & there, but in the end, you'll see that we were able to pull it off after coming in half way through the show and ALL totals will be correct!! :-) Flood & Serenae ~ no worries! I have the correct # on my running totals so you should see it reflected in the next updated post. Bookjunky ~ Prior to your last post of 15, I had you down for 51. That puts the running total at 66, not 76. Did I miss another post of 10? I just want to make sure that I'm following along, NOT that I'm questioning your count!!! :-) (This is one of the 'lag' examples. Even though the most recent speadsheet has you down for 32, I have the updated count of 51.) I did a measly 5 over the weekend. I ran out of dirt AGAIN and then didn't feel like doing more once I went and bought more. Hope everyone has a great week!! Em |

| Lynda, I took a quick peek at last years zone wars at the first of this years and I remember you having a ton of containers, lol. All I can say is whooooo hoooo, go zone 6!! In reference to Jodie and Meadows in a loud deep race announcers voice: "and the race is on, who will have the biggest container count, uh oh it looks like lynda from zone 6 might be in the race also. She is coming from the behind but who knows once she gets momentum, ya may never catch her." Hee hee, lol!! |
|
| Another 49 for Zone 5 Jim |

| Don't go doing that, countrycarolyn! I really don't need to sow like a crazy lady and then spend the summer trying to find space to wedge even more plants in. Means another 3 weeks of running to practices & another weekend sitting at a wrestling tourney but I love every minute! | Yellowflowerpot, I had you down for 44, but it didn't updated properly when it was converted to html. I have now added your additional 6, so your updated count of 50 will be reflected in River's next post. Sorry about that... have no fear though, we've got it covered! :-) I did 4 more last night, which brings my total to 289. I know I shouldn't be concerned, but I haven't seen any sprouts and many others in my zone have seen tons already. :-( I'm feeling left out! lol |

| Add 11 more for KimKa, bringing my total to 77. I swore that 75 was going to be my limit this year because I wasn't going to have a stand at the farmer's market this summer. But yesterday another market asked for me to have a stand there and given the increase in the price of gas, I said yes. So now I've got to do some more containers in a big hurry. |

| hi add 12 more for a total of 136 zone 6 (last one say 107 but really 124 it deleted some of my jugs but they're still there ;) |
