| Last minute urge to wintersow. Am I too late in the NC Piedmont?
Can you give suggestions for what's not too late, please? I will be planting in a place that will get hot this summer and is difficult to water and is exposed to deer. Not very restrictive, am I? I'll sort that all out after you tell me what will (or won't) work this late in the pre-spring. Thank you very much |

| Are you looking for a shrub or flowers?? I don't know why my mind keeps leaning to recommend a shrub for you. |

| Also are you wanting to keep the deer in the area and maybe feed the deer with the plant or do you want a deer resistant plant?? |

| In your zone it's getting late for things that might need a long cold strat. But not all perennials do, and most annuals don't need any at all. Karen |
