| Ok, ok, I think I am ready to try winter sowing for the first time ever. This is the first I have ever heard of it too. I do say that I love the idea and am looking forward to trying it out. I just got a pack of 24 different kinds of seeds in the mail today from a trader and most, if not all of them can be winter sown. Now all I have to do is gather me up some containers.
Here is a list of seeds I am going to try to winter sow, take a look and let me know if you see any that I should not WS. Blanket Flower
Tomato
What do you think? If any one has any special instructions for any of my seeds, please let me know. Thanks,

| Welcome, Matt. Peppers need a fair amount of heat to germinate. You might not have time to get fruit in your growing season. I admit I've never tried wintersowing them though, for that reason. If you have the ability and place to grow them under lights, that might be preferable for the peppers. But it never hurts to try. Everything else should be good I think. Karen |

| Winter sow marigolds late as they will germinate at the slightest sign of spring and are easily killed if there's a cold snap. |

| You can ws peppers in our area.Just wait a bit longer, say, end of April,or the first of May, keep an eye on them,as you do not want frost to get them, they do quite well actually. cAROL |

| Start your lettuce as it's fun to watch them come up early. |
|
| Also you may want to wait a bit to start the spider flower/celome until april they do not like any cold. And all veggies should wait at least until March if not a bit later than that. Other than what the others told you, you are good to go. Paula |
