What flowers first in the same year from seed?

I'm new to winter sowing, and I'm also planning a new bed. I'm trying not to rely on starting seeds early indoors, but I find I can't rely on my old bloom times because of that. What blooms earliest for you in spring the same year winter sown from seed in zones 6-8--and when?

Clarkia has always been a reliable bloomer for me in the spring. I haven't grown it in a while, because my new garden doesn't have much sun. But, I remember Clarkia blooming a short time after most of the bulbs start to fade. Clarkia is also very easy to start from seed in a pot or direct sown.
