| I was looking over my wintersown containers and while I have no sign of roses or parsley yet I have hyssop and the first, tiny, tomato sprouts.
When can I put out the peppers? |

Congratulations! I'm a newbie. I sure someone in Zone 7 can tell.

As soon as you are past frost you should be fine.

I haven't even sown my toms yet. Guess I better do them soon. Our weather has turned cold again. Hi of 47 today, lo of 27 tonight... No rush I guess. Karen

I guess I wasn't clear. I'm asking when I should wintersow the peppers, not when they go into the garden. Sorry about the confusion.

I'm wondering the same thing about peppers. Think I'll head over to wintersown.org and see what's on there about it. Caryl

I accidently sowed a container of peppers back in like january, well I had germination but it was slow. Other than that I have only sowed one veggie and that was broccoli. LOL, I need to get busy. I would say since you are in zone 7 I wouldn't see what it would hurt to sow your peppers now or wait till this cold front that is with us now moves out from you guys. Are you experiencing this cold front?? Brrr!!

Brrr! indeed. Though the rain was just what the garden ordered since I'd just planted a lot of cool-weather seeds on Friday.

After Tax Day - unless using a cold frame or some type of greenhouse. Have fun!
