| I've got sprouts!! Doing the Dance!! Alyssium, Clarkia, Cheddar Pinks, Canadian Milkvetch, and a wildflower from seeds I snagged out in Minney! This is so great!!
Question: I just received these in swaps, can they be wintersowed now? Perilla, Cleome, Candlestick Cassia Bush, Standing Cypress, Persian Cornflower, Campanula, and Desert Willow. And, is it too early to WS tomatoes in Zone 5 or 5/6? Yes, I've bought some inexpensive seeds and I'm going to try it one last time! Shirley! |

| Happy, happy sprout dance!!! Yay Shirley!! I'm so happy you have sprouts! Have yet to see one here so far but my sprouts were later than most last year too--my containers are mostly in shade. According to my 2010 sprout chart, I WS cleome on February 27 last year and they sprouted April 17. I WS tomato seeds on March 28; they sprouted April 29. Sorry I can't help with the other seed types but I'm sure someone else will have the answers for you. |
