Fall sown/overwintered flowers: when to divide & repot?

I fall sowed some white campion and cardinal flower seeds and they all came up before it got cold and grew into some nice seedlings. So far they've been hanging out together in my unheated indoor porch. Question is, they are really crowded right now, so when should I divide them into bigger pots for this season? I'm hoping to share them with friends and others at a swap later in the summer. They're in a 16 oz coffee cup and a 3" pot right now, with about a dozen seedlings all mushed together. There's no growth right now, but maybe by the end of the month?
