I've done this several times before, but this winter is confusing

me. I have some sprouting already. They are in cups with plastic vented with holes. Going to be cold tomorrow and then in the can't believe it 60-70s. So, what do I do? Do I go ahead and cut more slits in plastic?

Depends on what they are. Tender things just leave as is..hardy things can take some cold and be ok. Do you have them in direct sun or in the shade?
