For those who still need/want seeds (Midwest)

Menards has 11 packs of seeds for $0.99 this week. Not sure about the quality, but I figured I'd toss it out there.

Totally unrelated to wintersowing, they also have rose bushes for $1.99 after $2 mail in rebate.

I will have to check that out. I wonder if our local Menards is also doing this.

ENABLER....

I was at menards yesterday. I tried real hard to walk past the seeds. Now I know they are cheapo...I may get some more alyssum or some herbs.

Muahaha! I TECHNICALLY have enough seeds too... But I'm missing a few herbs and veggies that I'd like. So, I'm going to have to head over there myself a day this week.

Convinced my husband we need to go to Menards tonight for a new mailbox (I am getting rid of the leaking old one and moving it back a few feet so I can plant my clematis behind it). I will also be scoring a lot of seeds.

I ended up picking up 60 packets last night! I thought I had only gotten around 30, but was surprised when I added them up on the receipt.

I went to my local Menards today, and it was pretty slim pickings to be honest. Many, many empty shelves... Ohwell. I got 11 packs. Hopefully others have better luck :o)
