VINCA Periwinkle ground cover

Anyone have any luck wintersowing this ground cover? Am I too late to sow seeds for this ground cover. Any info would be so very helpful. Thanks so much.

you can buy flats of it as cheap groundcover. Warning though, it will take over. I am having a landcscaper eradicate it for me. Round up did not work; it's like a noxious weed.

Are you talking about the annual vinca or the perennial vinca?
