I have never grown poppies before and am very excited about my sprouts. I receive lots of poppy seeds in the mail. Not knowing what kink of germination rate I would get, I planted all of them in one container. Wow!...I think I have a 100% germination rate and should have spread these amoung many containers!

'Lauren's Grape' is in the front and red ones are in the back.

Great turnout there! I adore poppies...I just bought four packs of them yesterday. I had a big patch of california poppies that had been growing for three years that I accidently dug up so I had zero poppies last year! Lol* So I'm starting again from scratch this year. I bought some perennial oriental poppies that I want to get started on today, and I'd like to pick up some different annual varieties today. The best thing about poppies is you can plant them and leave them and they just multiply and put on such a gorgeous display!
