| I saw CBS (East Coast) news this evening, they are saying there is only 5.96 inches of rain forecast for the entire summer. This is going to be a hot and dry summer.
Bummed out. I'm am so hoping we get some steady rain. My neighbors called the township on me when we had the drought the summer of 2010. I ordered 7 roses. Any water conservation ideas is very welcome! |

| 3 inches of mulch on your beds will help retain moisture and some rain barrels to catch some of that 5.96 inches of rain. You could get really creative and try to recapture some of the grey water from your house (ie Used Washer and Shower water). I dont think soapy water will hurt your plants Dean |

| I like Dean's idea of using grey water. I just ordered a rain barrel...we made one but it leaked. I will work on that problem when I replace it with the new barrel. Of course if we do not get rain, it will not do me any good. |
