Our forecast says 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow with a high of only 34. I haven't planted out yet so hopefully I can save the majority of my containers.

Parts of Pa. are supposed to get 12-18" of snow! In late April, Ack!
There's a freeze warning just to the north and west of me, but thankfully, no snow. Pittsburgh is supposed to get 4-6" of snow. Makes me pretty glad I moved from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati :-)

we're just south of Pittsburgh and the snow is supposed to be wet and heavy causing lots of damage. this could be devastating to a lot of trees, shrubs and plants

Here on Long Island we are getting rain, it's needed desperatly, we have been in a drought and the soil is so dry. The amount of rain that is expected will probably cause some flooding, but thankfully the temps are in the 50's so we will not be getting snow. :)

I'm like bring it on! It was so dry here!

It's raining here now, and I moved a few of my containers under the back steps so they will get some heat by the dryer vent when the snow gets here. Keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be okay as with everyone else's sprouts!

yes wet snow is damaging. It was so sad when we had an early snow here in Oct, and many of the trees still had leaves, and the snow broke many limbs and caused trees to fall.
hope you don't have too much damage.

we had some badly-needed rain, I haven't been outside yet to survey for any damage. I saw what looked like flakes last evening, but I think I was imagining it, or it was some flowering tree petals; it wasn't cold enough for snow.
