I have some growing from a seedling bought on line, haven't tried to wintersow it yet.

Nothing is happening in my jug yet, but neither is my buddleia. I'm hoping they just take longer.

Pony, where did you get your seed? I got a couple divisions of F. rubra in a swap years ago, and it is a huge patch now. These spread quite vigorously! They're duking it out with the Monarda didyma and 'Raspberry Wine' - all of which are going to swallow the Hummingbird garden if they aren't culled back.

I've never even looked for the seed on these. What do they look like?

I purchased them from Georgia vines. They are really thin seeds about a quarter inch long. They looked like the Buddleia seeds if you have ever seen those. BTW, those have not sprouted yet either.

I have Filipendula vulgaris sprouting for me and Buddleia seeds as well. Both are from a trade.

Moonwolf, how long have they been sprouting? Maybe mine are just behind?
