ID Needed, please

It's not unlike me to have put something in a space and neglected it until at some point in a future season, I get something like this that I have NO clue what it is, nor do I remember putting it here. I'm providing a link to the post over on the perennials forum, but thinking I might have WS'd it and dumped a jug here? I just don't know. Any ideas?

Looks like echinacea seedlings to me. I'd post a pick of mine, that are popping up a few feet from the mother plant, but it's pouring rain outside!. The reddish hue, and serrated leaf edge are exactly the same. Once you plant a coneflower..the love keeps happenin' every season.

It looks a lot like Eupatorium, either Joe Pye or Rugosum to me.
