I am bundled up,and have a fire going in the wood burner,I hate cold!

| Hah! cAROL - I just came up the cellar stairs from lighting a fire in my woodstove! Altho' it's warmer today than it has been the past week and I hung sheets out on the clothesline, it's a far cry from the April weather we had last year. I brought in a wheelbarrow load of firewood and kindling that should last through tomorrow (fingers crossed). Also opened a couple dozen sprouted WS containers so the sprouts could get a little direct sun on them. Don't worry--I close them up again for the night around 6 p.m. Got my truck started this afternoon so I can start hauling mulch this weekend. Hang in there!! It'll get warm soon. |

I know Gardenweed, it has to, but man, I am just freezing.
No sun over here, dark and gloomy,wish I had a good movie to watch.I could take a nap. |

| I feel your pain, Carol. There was snowy slush on my windshield this morning. For a couple of days we have cold and WINDY weather. I might be able to garden if it is cold, but you throw in a mighty wind and I am outta there. The highs for the next few days...42, 46, 48. Yikes! Will spring ever arrive? |

| Last Sunday we got up to 85 and it was very humid and sticky. Our neighbors even turned on the ac! This weekend it was very cold and windy and it snowed last night. It is funny when you have shorts and a tank top in the same load of laundry as thermal underwear! I want some nice mild spring weather. The 85 temp was actually more disturbing than the snow. My seedlings and me aren't ready for that kind of heat yet. |

| Have to give you that one molanic--don't think I've EVER had shorts and a tank top in the same laundry load as thermal underwear! I love the woodstove in spring because the house is toasty when it's "brisk" outside and I don't have to nudge the thermostat. I especially love the woodstove when I don't have to nudge the thermostat at the same time heating oil is $4/gallon! |
