Planted Up More Hunk O'Seedlings's

Hi everyone,

Pictures will be added later on but I planted up my canterbury bells and blue flax seedlings. The blue flax were a bit tricky to do but I got them :). I think I'll go do more :).

Oh and if anyone has spare window blind plant tags, please let me know! I'll need more!

Here they are! From left to right: canterbury bells, blue flax and phlox (Dwarf Beauty Mixed Colors). Enjoy!

Yay Brad! Good job on those HOS. I've got Campanula golmerata sprouts - common name bellflower. Are those the same as your Canterbury bells? Both my blue flax and phlox have sprouted but they're nowhere near as far along as yours. Last year I could have sworn I was Z6a.

I've finally started seeing some sprouts pop up in many of my containers so the green wave is s-l-o-w-l-y making it's way north & east. It's so cold none of them are showing any signs of sending out a true leaf but they will when they're ready.

I worked outside yesterday & today clearing winter debris from the flowerbeds and hauling it off to toss along the far back boundary out of sight (mostly). I can feel windburn on my face from the strong, brutal wind that had me bundled up in multiple layers for protection from the cold. The sun felt good the few times it poked through the cloud cover.

The Green Wave is really doing good for you! Congratulations! I'm digging up weeds and making new room.

Thank you!

Gardenweed, I just looked it up and Canterbury bells are Campanula medium. They are bellflowers though! I hope you start seeing more green in your containers! Mine were slow at first (some are still bare) but they're sprouting like crazy!

Ladyrose, what a great idea to do in between all this rain we've been having!
