No Four O'Clocks Yet

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time WSing for a few years. I sowed some 4 o'clocks this year - probably about mid-march. I haven't seen any sign of sprouts. A few weeks ago, a few popped up to the surface, and I thought they were sprouting, but nothing. I'm starting to think they may have rotted.

I did have them on the north side of the house, so they haven't had too much warmth, but I'm getting other sprouts there. I moved them to the south side of the house two days ago to see if that helps, but I'm thinking after a whole month in the wet, they may be done for. I know, I know, I should give them time and see, but I have other seeds to sow and I need those containers if they aren't going to be doing anything - LOL! There are no free lunches around here this year when it comes to sowing seeds - I'm trying to go through the hoard I have acquired over the past few years.

I'm in SE Pa, and I see others in my area are sprouting already. How much more time should I give them?
