Brad, to my knowledge these seeds need cold stratification

You could try a few of the seeds and see how they do, but usually the cold strat is what they need.

These are fine to sow now.

Columbine I've WS in Jan and February and they germinated fine. They also germinated fine when I sowed them in April, May, June, Sept and those came up the following spring.
They can be very slow germinators too, so don't give up if you don't see any sprouts before June. Just put the containers aside, keep them in partial shade and watered well during the summer, they will be fine. Oh, yeah, don't be surprised if some of the containers don't sprout at all this year. Put those aside as well. Leave them out again all winter and presto, up they come next year. I've had 12 containers of various types of columbines do that to me over the past 8 years. Just love those surprises.

Ladybird poppies are an annual and they are fine now.

I have trouble remembering which seeds need cold stratification. I knew for sure the Swamp Milkweed does, but I wasn't sure about the rest. I WS'd Columbine for the first time and all the ones I planted sprouted :). Of course, I did sow them back in December. I heard they can take a while to sprout so I won't give up on them if I plant them now. Some of these I *might* be trading away but it's nice to have the info about the cold strat!
