| Every year my wonderful hubby hires a guy or two to help with the spring clean up of the beds, and every year I forget that they rake/take all the LABELS out! The ones I make from blinds. So as I wander my yard and see perennial groupings popping up from last years WSing, I find myself doing this weird thing...
I try to guess what the plant is, then run over to where my many well- labeled jugs are. I peer down spouts and try to find "matchs". Worked today with petunias that reseeded in a hanging basket. Wasn't sure what had reseeded (or maybe it's a weed? goes through your mind) until I looked in a jug of new petunias and they have the same form. |
