| Hoping it is as perfect a gardening day in your corner of the world as it is here on Long Island today and that you get to spend the day out there, doing what you love, in your flower beds.
This is my first Mother's Day without either of my kids home and I am missing them (they are finishing finals at college.) I am going out there and spending the day loving up those baby seedlings!!!!! Have a wonderful Mother's Day,

|
| No pro-mix or manure, but I got a flat of impatiens! Happy Mother's Day everyone. |

| Happy Mothers Day, girls. Karen |

| I got a big pot of a nice 12" high annual daisys in full bloom that fit perfectly on a corner of a pathway that always get full of weeds. Made me very happy. Also to metal "interest" items for the yard... a beautifully designed 3' crane/heron and a double sided 5' tall pin wheel. They look great in the beds. I discovered I AM out of promix today (went through 4 bales already this season!)so I guess I will be stopping at the Nursury supply place myself this week.... |

| No Pro-mix--still have enough Fafard left to finish spring sowing--and no manure but a gallon pot of blooming woodland phlox that are SO pretty!!! Also a hanging basket of petunias, a pot of campanula/bellflower and a couple stacks of various size pots for this year's WS plants. My daughter came here to plant shop on Saturday and left with several milk jugs of seedlings, a kousa dogwood I grew from seed via WS last year and a few other potted WS perennials. Hope Mother's Day was special for all the WS moms out there! |
