I hear u on getting things planted out I do about 3 a day and I just walk around with the 3 bottles in hand trying to find a place for them,walking back and forth, back and forth, THERE ISNT A PLACE!!,after two years I'm done the beds are full.This method works too good,next year tomatoes and peppers only..

I'm holding back on potting up my thunbergia into a hanging basket, we can still have frost here until about the middle of the month, and the earliest safe date for tomatoes here is said to be 6/1 (except for WS tomatoes, I have learned). I didn't WS the thunbergia, and that's why I have to wait.

Meanwhile, my WS asclepias is doing just fine outdoors,but my montauk daisies haven't sprouted yet.

This weather is driving me nuts! I've got a honking case of bronchitis - sound like a blasted goose! And no energy.

pippi21 - sure hope it warms up soon for everyone's sake. This chilly weather is driving me batty! I'm so tired of piling on layers every morning. I must look like an eskimo digging in my flowerbeds! (;-p)

Mary - let me know if you need more Montauk daisy seeds if yours don't sprout. I checked my sprout chart for last year and mine sprouted March 27 (WS 12/27). They bloomed first year from seed too.

tomva - I got a good chuckle out of mentally picturing you walking back and forth with a pot of seedlings in each hand looking for a bare spot to plant them. I just pot up any extras and offer them to friends, family & neighbors who are (so far anyway) happy to take them off my hands.
