May the patron saint of sprouts watch over them for you until the patron saint of seedlings takes over at planting out/potting up time. You might try a little weak SEWP to see if it helps them develop more robust roots. SEWP = Seaweed Extract & Worm P**p tea. Seaweed extract encourages foliar growth while worm p**p is just plain gardeners gold. I mixed a weak tea that I used to water my plants last year and you've seen the photos--they were all pretty amazing. I bought the concentrated seaweed extract at a garden center and a woman at work gave me a coffee can of worm castings from her worm farm. One of my tomato plants grew 9 ft. tall on that stuff.

Congratulations on getting them to sprout! I gave up. The seeds I have left will be for seed trade next winter.

I read up on the Confederate Rose and it is a beauty. I hope you are able to keep them going. The site I saw online said they are only viable to zone 7. Has anyone grown them in zone 6? I would love to try. There goes my sprout seed/sprout envy.LOL

LadyRose don't give up.I had 20 seeds and sowed 10 last year in Feb.and didnt get a sprout. This year I took the last 10 seeds and sowed in the beginning of April when my temps hit consistent 70s and all 10 sprouted..Bev my mom has plants that arent hardy to zone 7 and they are planted near her foundation and they come back every year, she does put leaves on top of them
