Sounds like you are making alot of progress! I too was able to catch a bit of a break between the rainshowers and planted 4 O'Clocks, Sweet William, Alyssum and Sun Flowers, it was great and relaxing, but oh too short before the rains came again.

I was wondering where you've been! I was able to plant out because of the rain. I'm tired. I got them all very close to one another. I barely have room for my zinnia's.

I've finally been able to transplant some more of my seedlings into their 2 1/2" pots today and got some store bought plants in the ground. I need to get my zinnias and sweet scabious in the ground asap, they are practically bursting out of their milk jugs, but where I want to plant them is so wet I can't work with it, except to make mud pies, and who wants mud pies? Not I. At least we'll have a break from the rain for a couple of days, maybe the ground will dry out just enough to plant, but I doubt it. I'll have to do it anyway and hope for the best.

Hoping that everyone has a nice sunny weekend! Yeah the ground is still soaked here too but it's a little easier to work with :) . I've got a few just bursting out of their containers too, but some will have to wait until I can get them to my sister. Still direct sowing seeds as well (some anyways, most are going into pots).

Slightly off topic but I have to share this: My jaw dropped yesterday when I saw Wal-Mart had butterfly bushes for sale and I saw one with a huge pink flower on it! They were only $6!!! I wish I had room for one. Maybe if my sweet autumn clematis doesn't start growing soon I might transplant it and get a butterfly bush :) .
