| Hi everyone,
I've been busy planting up most of my seedlings. Don't worry, pictures will come in time. Gardening seems to be the only peaceful time right now I have. With all this rain, we finally got a break today. I planted clarkia, larkspur, some kind of galliardia (just sent to me as Tall Galliardia Mix and only two sprouted), statice and canterbury bells. These are planted in a raised concrete planter. We have four of them, two have flowers (one has my clematis, the other has the seedlings I just potted up) and the other two are the veggie "garden". We just bought our one tomato, pepper and cucumber plants yesterday thought the cucumbers look more like seedlings lol. Now I just have to plant some milkweeds for the butterflies if I can find space. If not, off they go to my sister. Brad AKA Moonwolf |

| Sounds like you are making alot of progress! I too was able to catch a bit of a break between the rainshowers and planted 4 O'Clocks, Sweet William, Alyssum and Sun Flowers, it was great and relaxing, but oh too short before the rains came again. I look forward to your pictures! |

| I was wondering where you've been! I was able to plant out because of the rain. I'm tired. I got them all very close to one another. I barely have room for my zinnia's. Good to hear from you. |

| I've finally been able to transplant some more of my seedlings into their 2 1/2" pots today and got some store bought plants in the ground. I need to get my zinnias and sweet scabious in the ground asap, they are practically bursting out of their milk jugs, but where I want to plant them is so wet I can't work with it, except to make mud pies, and who wants mud pies? Not I. At least we'll have a break from the rain for a couple of days, maybe the ground will dry out just enough to plant, but I doubt it. I'll have to do it anyway and hope for the best. Karen |

| Hoping that everyone has a nice sunny weekend! Yeah the ground is still soaked here too but it's a little easier to work with :) . I've got a few just bursting out of their containers too, but some will have to wait until I can get them to my sister. Still direct sowing seeds as well (some anyways, most are going into pots). Slightly off topic but I have to share this: My jaw dropped yesterday when I saw Wal-Mart had butterfly bushes for sale and I saw one with a huge pink flower on it! They were only $6!!! I wish I had room for one. Maybe if my sweet autumn clematis doesn't start growing soon I might transplant it and get a butterfly bush :) . Brad AKA Moonwolf |
