Hey, I have several,and I so mean,SEVERAL,cat mint plants, that are last years,and pretty big, do you want any?
I didn't know how they would look when I planted them,and I planted way to many,very pretty purple flower.

I appreciate your kind offer - I already have tons of catmint because it does so well in my area (near Albuquerque New Mexico) but went on a winter sowing frenzy in March and the catmint was part of it. I have since divided some of the bigger ones I have and tried a few different varieties from Bluestone Perennials. I'll bet there are people out there who would love to have the plants, though.

warning - in my area at least, catmint is very invasive. Right now I like it cuz it has blue flowers and the bees are enjoying it, but I will be pulling it out soon. It is very hard to get rid of.

yes the roots of WS plants are amazing.
I sowed blue fescue last year, and this year they are stunning.

ellen - thanks for the warning about the cat mint. I have plenty of space for it but don't want it taking over so I'll keep a close watch.

Ya know, I was told it was invasive also,AFTER, I palnted it,ha ha
But this year, it just came back as the plants that I planted,no more,no less,each in it's own assinged spot,so I will keep a couple for myself.Gardenweed, I will add it to you hostas,happy you want one.I just hate throwing away any plant.
The bees and hummers love this plant.
