Hey Everyone! Thanks to the nice weather we've been having, I've been able to start/complete some of my garden projects for this year
All the plants in this raised bed were WSed or grown from seed, except for the lavender.

The lasagne bed-Finally! There are layers of newspaper, horse poop and coffee grounds so far. Will keep adding to it all year.

I built this bed last weekend-I'm not the best carpenter in the world! All the plants were WSed this year!

APhotobucketall that's left out of 184 milk jugs!
Sorry the pics are so big-Photobucket hates me!

Looks great, Shirley. You screwed or nailed that together yourself! You really have been working hard hauling a lot of heavy dirt around. Your milk jugs look so much bigger than mine. Are they gallons or larger? If larger, where did you get them? Is that heuchera to the left of the air conditioning tower? What kind & could I grow it in a lot of shade? Congrats, looking good!

Thanks again for the Lady in Red seeds. Lots of blooms right now & I'm taking pics. The shade of red is really pleasing.

Yes, that raised bed should look nice this year, and then, really great next; it is all perennials.
River-they are just regular gallon milk jugs. I've had that huechera so long that I don't remember what it is. The flowers are different from my other huecheras. I think it would do well in shade; mine is in full sun from about 10 to 2. My LIRs are finally planted out front, they are only about 3 inches high! Glad yours are growing well!
