A mostly wintersown garden

I didn't wintersow very many seeds this year - maybe 30 containers. But I have been enjoying the flowers from seeds sown over the past few years, and the ones that have self-sown, as well as many iris obtained through GW trades. Here are some pictures from my yard this spring - it should open as a slideshow. I apologize for whatever ads appear on photobucket.

How beautiful. A welcome sight, since my garden is pretty much still asleep.

I agree with Karen - a very welcome site. It has been cold, wet and rainy here for the past 4 days. My flowers have been doing a "one at a time" type of deal. Thanks for sharing these! The white clematis are just beautiful!

What a wonderful sight for sore eyes!! We are having awful weather here - it has been raining since the weekend, and the 5-day forecast shows more of the same. I have not been able to plant out anything since two weeks ago (lettuce, radish, baby bok choy) because the ground is too wet - just a mass of mud. It is also cold so I have not been able to harden off my toms. and peppers grown indoors under lights. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely flowers! I have a bad case of zone envy right now. :)

Ramazz, very beautiful pictures. I like how you coordinated the plants together.

Thanks, everyone. I am laughing at the 'coordinated' part, since most of it is just luck. We have been lucky with our weather this year, too - no late freezes and enough rain but no flooding.
