| My muscari (grape hyacinth) is starting to go to seed. I'm debating about collecting seed to WS next year. Who has experience? What is the germination rate? And how many years to bloom?
Right now I could order 60 muscari bulbs for $10 and I would be guaranteed blooms next spring. So I'm kinda wondering if the time and effort is worth it to wintersow. I love this bulb and I'm thinking of ordering about 600 bulbs. |

| Due to the lack of response I'm guessing that nobody has had a favorable outcome. I think I will just order the bulbs. |

| Someone on the Bulbs Forum might have tried this. You could ask over there. But many of us find Muscari spread more than we want all by themselves. But there's nothing to stop you sowing your seed anyway and finding out for yourself. |
