I opened a jug while ago, thinking that the sun is getting dreadful here and they need to get out of the mini-greenhouse.

I was happy to transplant 5 allium cernuum and at least 40 wads of rudbeckia triloba that I had sown in the same container in November.

Unfortunately, the digitalis just aren't growing...they insist on remaining seedling leaves forever.

The allium cernuum will make a beautiful clump in a very short time. I had no luck with rudbeckia triloba this year. All the other Ruds. germinated fine and are growing well. Haven't grown digitalis for many years. It's beautiful only in its first year here. Then the blooms get smaller and smaller until you have to pull it out. Enjoy your ruds!!
