| Sown Dec 21, planted out in late March. The only plant I got out of hundreds of seeds sown. Yes, it's blooming at a whole 18" tall.

| That's a pretty Foxy! Speaking of which, today I believe I will dig up and move some of my South African Foxglove seedlings (no not the same species/family just reminded me!)to a spot with more space/sun. |

| As Vera said, they're probably "foxy", dwarf digitalis. Dig is generally pretty prolific, reseeds like crazy, too. That's one of my best WSown for sprouts each year. Questionable seeds? Traded?

| All came from trades, so there's no way of knowing. I have more for the coming year. :) |

I sowed several different types: Ferrugina (or something like that), Foxy, Foxy Dwarf, some "Chocolate" kind, and another kind that I can't remember the name of. I'm determined to get more of this in my yard. The "Strawberry" Foxglove I had got dug up by the dog, and before that, it wasn't growing so hot where I had them. I WSed some last year that I transplanted really early and it fizzled. Turned out where I had it was too wet-- I found out they don't like wet feet. So I'm really thinking strategically this year and planting them out later, and putting them in another area of the yard that gets different sun and has drier (but not too dry) soil. I've got my fingers crossed that it works. Linda |

| ...hmmm except I didn't say anything about "foxy" dwarf anything LOL! |

| Vera: you said "That's a pretty Foxy!". Isn't Foxy a dwarf? I have some, started with commercial seed years ago. It was a dwarf, blooming at about 20 inches tall, called Foxy. Did you mean something else? |
