| If I had a camera I'd show you a picture, I gotta tell you I have never seen such a healthy plant.
Last year I planted them out,and they grew and flowered and were nice. This year I transplanted one to a pot in my driveway and what a magnificent plant, I swear it could pose for a cover plant of a catalogue it is that perfect. I'm sure this is bec.it is wintersown! |

| Last year was my first year WSing Rudbeckia and they are now in their first year bloom. They are larger plants than I expected - about 3 feet tall - and the blooms look like sunflowers, except they are more of them. I will post a pic. when they are fully out. I hope this one is perennial in my zone. The lablel on the seed simply said Rudbeckia bronze, and the germination was excellent. Perhaps I should sow a few more this year just in case. |

| Here is a pic. of my Rudbeckia bronze. This was winter sown last year and this pic. does not do it justice. It's the hit of this border. |

| Very pretty! How tall is it? I think I might need to look for some seeds.... |

| Northerner, Mine is bronze too, but it looks different than yours. Here is a picture from flikr that looks like mine. |

| This is one of my favourite Ruds, looks like Northerner's, but mine was called "Autumn Colours" And here's a lovely from 'kqrna' ..w/s 2 years ago, called "Golden Eye". If you keep deadheading, they will last all summer (as long as they don't get mildew). |

| I'm glad you still have my pretty ones Wendy. Mine stayed true for many generations. Now, not so much. Some have dark eyes. Some have orange in the petals. Some are still the same yellow with green eye but they're definitely not stable anymore. I might have to beg seeds from you one of these days. Karen |
