Rain, Rain Go Away!

The last two weeks we have been getting bombarded with rain. It was going okay until last weekend when we got 4.5 inches in one night and about 7 inches over the course of the weekend. My garden flooded. It couldn't drain away to the ditch for about 24 hours because the ditch was so full. Now I'm noticing that five rows of my blackbeans, a row of bush beans, and a row of pole beans, and many tomatoes, are all looking like they are going to die. I think they might have pulled through, but we got another half inch at least yesterday evening. Any idea if these could pull through? The thought of going to all the work of planting and weeding to get nothing really irks me.

There is no rain the forecast today. Next rain change I believe is Friday night/Saturday morning.

RE: Rain, Rain Go Away!

I understand it's going to rain in those states with wildfires that are destroying the land. But I understand.
