This was my first year using milk jugs to winter sow. Wow! Huge difference. Here's a few beauties I grew this year and a few from last year, rebar bloomed this year. It's been a great year for wintersowing.

Lovely plant. It would be interesting to know what you used before you used milk jugs. I have never used them because they are hard to find here - most milk drinkers use bags. What are your pros and cons?

northerner_on, I use salad containers, cake container tops turned upside down, 2 liter soft drink bottles, water bottles, deep cups. Down here these containers are so ubiquitous it is not funny.
