Hi guys, there are a couple of seedlings that have lightly seeded in my gardens; many seedlings I can id, but these I have no idea, and they look kinda interesting.

Anybody know? Thanks!

Pure guesses
Could the first be an amaranthus of some sort?

Second, maybe achillea?

Hello Terrene, the first one is 'Amaranthus Love Lies Bleeding'. It gets big and ugly.

I don't know what the second pict. is? Look like it's related to the Poppy Family?

Hi guys, I think I might have id'd the 2nd one today. Queen Anne's Lace?? Looks like one is starting to make the lacey foliage...

1st reminds me of poke too, but it's definitely not, since I have about a million more of those to compare to in the yard. Haha Anyway those are getting weeded out, especially since they are in the middle of my daylily seedlings!

I'd say the first one is amaranthus - not necessarily the big ugly kind. :)

Second one... ???
