Your quickest to bloom?

I winter sowed gaillardia seeds this year in January and one had a flower before the end of May. I think it was from the Grandiflora mix that I got from Swallowtail Seeds. The bloom looks sort of like 'Fanfare' with tubular petals. I have several more from the mix that haven't flowered yet but also planted some gaillardia aristata seeds and I don't know which is which. They have both grown fast.

I only got three seedlings from my gaillardia 'Arizona Apricot'. The other gaillardias came up thickly but that one was almost a dud. They're smaller too but I think they'll do ok, and if all three live, still worth the price of a pack of seed I guess.

Well gailardia is the fastest for me to bloom also. They reseed nicely in the beds also.

I guess the second fastest to bloom is alpine strawberry. Last year it shocked me how fast it bloomed after growing. This year it was blooming in mid march. I guess that is from such a warm winter. Not sure but I have been picking strawberries since april. Yumm!!

I just got my first bloom a week ago on dwarf poppies. They are about 6" tall and have teeny tiny yellow flowers. Everything else i sowed this year is still between half inch and 4 inches tall- i gotta LONG way to go before i see blooms!
