Very nice!

Hey, what are the yellow and orange flowers in the little wooden planter?

BTW, those lilies are gorgeous!

The zinnia with the two-toned pink petals is gorgeous, well... so are the rest of your blooms. Congratulations!

Flowers are beautiful!

How do you have such large plants blooming already in Zone 5 versus our Zone 6? Have you had some sun and heat?

Just lovely.

Big question...how do you keep your Zinnia foliage looking that pristine? Zenman suggested using non-fat milk solution spray (nonchemical) to keep foliage coated so fungal spores are less likely to adhere to foliage.

Foliage on seedlings already looks like a mess with so much rain and pests around here for past 2 months.

Thanks for sharing beautiful flowers. I love to look at every one!

I have three different colors of gerbera daisy in the wooden planters.

And on the zinias this year we are doing things different we have a soaker hose so that way the zinnias don't get their leaves wet since they are easy to mold. So far it is working and I have to fight the temptation of watering with the hose when I do the rest of the beds. I love watering the plants.

And we are going on our thrid day of heat in the 90's and they are talking there maybe a few more to come.

These were taken after a very bad storm that blew down a bunch of tree limbs all over town. Luckily we kust lost a bunch of limbs and no houses were damaged too much though one house did get a hole in the roof. And we were without power for 8 hours. Not too bad. I think they said the heat index was 100 today. so no playing in the garden today maybe in a ffew days.

Beautiful flowers, Paula.

The aphids are doing quite a job on my zinnia leaves.

They look great, Paula!

The zinnias I sowed from your seeds are just starting to bloom in my garden. They are so pretty. I can't wait until I have them all blooming like yours.

Nice! Gee, I just got my zinnias transplanted, had to sow them 3 times this year due to the rains and cold.
Amazing how Zone 5's are different

Paula, did you wintersow those Gerbera daisies? I've WS them the past two years and had zero germination. I'm about ready to sow them indoors this time around.

Sadly no the gerbera daisy that I did get to germinate are still the two leaf seedling stage and have been for longer than I care to admit. No all of the gerbera were bought at walmart. I am thinking about not even trying to save seed this year from them.

I love porn--PLANT PORN!

I am amazed at your zinnias! I have a hard time with zinnias because of earwigs. They eat them down to nothing. Luckily, I get a few to survive.
Beautiful plants you have.

Now that's the kind of porn I can REALLY get excited about. It almost makes me want to buy a digital camera. Almost !! But then I think to myself, "Helen, you could sure use that money for a new rose bush or another shrub or some more flowers. Now I want raised beds. No, not the plain ones. I want the expensive fancy schmancy ones made of landscaping timbers !! LOL

But I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed your porn show !! Keep em coming !!

Helen
