| Just thought I would share some plant porn. Most of the petunias had to be store bought this year, as mine are not doing so good.
cherry brandy rudbeckia started last year and came back this year Some of these were started by seeds others were bulb These were started years ago And now just some of my blooming pretties |

| Thanks for sharing these! I am particularly jealous of fully blooming gallardia and those great "cherry brandy" rudbeckia. Gives me hope that mine will look like that some day - just WS this year and still toddlers (4-5 inches tall) I also loved the columbine in your Part 2. Which program are you using for uploading photos? I have to relearn how to do this and would love some advise... |
|
| Thank you I just used photobucket dot com and then used the third option under the pics to share here. Very easy to do. Paula |

| You got some nice stuff! I really like the Columbine. I am not having any luck with them so far. They just disappear on me? |
|
| Ladyrose, if your seedlings are disappearing, it could be slugs. They come out at night mostly and they are the biggest threat to my seedlings! They like to hide out under containers and flats. Try going out at night with a flashlight and you will probably find the culprits. |

| Beautiful pictures, what is name of flower in pixs 4 and 5; we moved to Table Rock Lake in Missouri last year and this plant is on north side of house, have no idea what it is. Can I divide and move it with success? Thanks for info in advance. Happy planting and blooming!! |
|
| Tablerockcountrygirl That would be a balloon flower. They have long tap roots. If you dig them out try to get as much of the tap root as you can. You can also collect the seeds as start those. There are also some double flowers as well. You can "pop" the flowers before they open without harming them. The kids like doing these. And the do "pop". Paula |

| Paula, Thank you so very much for the info; these flowers are along side of house so will probably leave them in peace. I am amazed at the amount of wildflowers along the road here in Missouri, sure makes for a beautiful drive into town for groceries!! Again, thanks for the info on the balloon flower. TRCG |
